ALESSANDRO FALCA
Alessandro Falca was born in Italy in 1981. Predisposed to the most various forms of Art since his childhood, he began his academic career at the University of Florence, majoring in Interior Design first, then specializing in Industrial Design and finally graduating with a Bachelor´s Degree in Architecture.
His family is of noble origins: the Falca family tree was established in 1202 in Piedmont, Italy. In 1821, led by Captain Francesco Falca, the family settled on the Island of San Pietro, Sardinia, an enchanting town that the Company is now named after:

- "I live where the inspiration of the moment brings me, be it Florence, Rome, Stockholm or the other side of the globe...". The ideal that dominates his existence is living each day to the full, absorbing every little nuance and emotion:

MAGDALENA ÅKERSTRÖM
Since the early age of 15 I decided that I would engage myself in a creative career. At that time I wanted to become a drawing teacher, later on a stage designer for the theater. Today I work as a graphic designer and interior designer.
Sometimes I get the question what it´s like to work with such diverse tasks as graphic design and interior design. For me it´s like working with exactly the same thing: the room and the architecture are the starting points, they set the proportions and conditions. In both professions, I work with lines and spaces, surfaces and colors, details and wholes.
My eight years of study after primary and secondary school were focused on visual arts, architectural studies and design. Visual art has always had an important place in my heart, but over time this interest in art in general shifted into design area.
I took my degree in design in 2005 at the School of Design and Crafts at Göteborg University.

Since 2006 I live in Kiruna, Sweden, where I work with my own design company named Åkerström form. In my spare time I continue to work with art, for example graphic art.
